Everyone at Oak Associates takes pride in the contributions we have made to the business community, as well as to the community at large in Japan.
Community Contributions
We believe in the importance of contributing to the community and one of our major contributions in Japan is as the creator and the core sponsor of Welcome Furoshiki, a free service for newly arrived foreigners. Since 1983 over 15,000 families and individuals have been personally given a warm welcome to life in Japan and the international community.
Business Contributions
We have shared our knowledge and expertise by writing professional articles, books and setting up seminars on timely human resources and business issues. We are active in Japanese business organizations and foreign chambers of commerce and have been involved in government relations activities to achieve deregulation in our industry. This had a direct impact on the improvement of the legal environment related to employment in Japan. We continue to strive to identify opportunities to provide leadership professionally and in our industry.
