Established by Charlotte Kennedy Takahashi in 1981, Oak Associates, K.K. is one of the first foreign owned entrepreneurial companies in Japan. In 1992, to further support our clients operating in western Japan, we opened an Osaka office.

Over the years, we have grown from a start-up into a mature, successful Executive Search and Human Resources consulting firm, knowledgeable about the market and human resources issues in Japan. Our knowledge and experience have been mobilized to benefit the business of over 1200 foreign capitalized client firms and have contributed to the internationalization of numerous Japanese organizations.

In 2001, we expanded to the U.S.A. and Europe, allowing us to leverage our core competencies and international business experience to provide our clients with consistent quality of services across markets. OakBridge, incorporated in the U.S. and the U.K., mirrors the partner ownership of Oak Associates.
